Current and previous kksca representatives

Maya Courtney was our most recent KKSCA Representative, who spent four months in Kasugai. Her focus during the trip was to connect with the youth and to teach them about Canadian culture!

Catherine Wallace represented KKSCA in May of 2025; she was the original gardener of Kasugai Gardens and is playing an integral part in our future plans to connect Kelowna Gardeners with Gardeners in Kasugai.

Liam Friesen represented our association in 2024 for 3 months. During his time there, he focused on learning different styles of Karate while also partaking in cultural exchange and bringing back the knowledge he learned.

Thomas Rule was our representative in Kasugai in 2023. During his exchange, Thomas taught English and learned Taiko drumming. He created deep ties in Kasugai and continues to stay in Japan for long periods of time.
